THE CHIMNEY SWEEPING PROCESS

Sweeping a chimney cleanly, efficiently and well is our mission. This is a multi stage process, before we start the fireplace is inspected then the hearth is sealed to prevent any soot entering the home. A sheet goes on the floor for protection of the carpet or rugs. A second sheet (the hearth cloth), makes sure the soot stays inside the fireplace. Only now after the chimney is sealed and your home is protected, can we start the cleaning process. The vacuum is used to keep the soot behind the sheet preventing it from entering the room. It also aides in cleaning up any residual soot from inside the fireplace. We then pass the brush though the chimney and out the top ensuring the chimney is thoroughly clean.
